A lot of players are getting on now and younger ones need to come on the scene.Dermot Reynolds John Mc Keon and Micheal mc Guinness are the best and longest serving Leitrim players and they are a credit they kept on a losing team for so long. Work needs to be done on the minor teams coming up to make they strong enough for senior. When is that centre of excellence suposed to be done and what facilities will it boast??

I don't see any point in holding onto M&M. We've just gone downhill since they took over. The one point that really annoys me is that we no longer are hard to beat. We seem to have shot our load 10 minutes into the second half in any championship game. Compare that to what we were doing to teams before where we were the ones full of running with 10 minutes to go. The one thing we should make sure we are is fitter then whoever we are playing as we don't have good enough players to beat most teams on skill alone.

i agree with what most of ye are saying. we have gone way back since M&M took over. its not that long ago things were looking good, we could compete with top teams and all we needed was a bit of luck to go our way. things have changed dramatically since. I believe M&M have tried their best, and do care , but the tactics employed on the pitch are unbelievably bad! the only time the "massive gap technique" worked was against the poorest of opposition- was never going to work v the likes of kildare! and in conditions like last saturday? crazy. the most frustrating thing ever to watch. have to say though i thought the backs and midfield gave it their all. Egan had a great debut. Dermot Reynolds was as brilliant as ever. forwards just not good enough . same old story. with the loss of our best forward from last year (Philly rip) & Mulligan getting injured again & the lack of leadership that Regan could provide it was inevitable .. Almost certain M&M will call it a day. but where to from here?
