94allstar are ya from Gortletteragh or not, make up your mind, or is it just a gloryhunting whoever's winning thing?

94 is jumping on the bandwagon again with any club that is going well.

Forgot me password to me old account but still same old dodgypass. Rivalries.. Carrick-Annaduff, Manor-Melvin are obvious ones, Gortletteragh-Bornacoola and Bornacoola-Annaduff be another two..Gortletteragh-Mohill at underage always a fierce rivalry! I presume Dromahair-Drumkeerin and Dromahair-Glenfarne are rivalry games too.

Traditionally the willies and sean o heslins was the biggest rivalrly in leitrim. They were the two best teams for a long period of time and were right beside other. Manor melvin look like taking over this mantle with the upcoming league final adding to their recent battles. In the 90's allen gaels and st.marys fought many a battle. Same could be said for aughavas and gortlettragh. The bors and annaduff are fierce rivals as really they are the one parish unlike mohill who claim eslin. In underage ballinamore and mohill are building a good rivalry as both have been the most successful in the underage grades the last few years. Before that garadice and st.francis used to have a good rivalry in minors and u21s. There is also nothing like the bog derby to get the blood vessels flowing!

Kilclare geals have had some religious battles with kiltubrid down trough the years

But they seem to get on very well with aughnasheelin I don't know why

Gorvagh used to have a great rivalry with soh once upon a time

The great gorvagh team took a few county finals in their day it was a combination partly cloone partly mohill and partly fenagh and I think a few stragglers from Eslin and the mohill side of kiltubrid played for them aswell

94allstar surely you should be 44allstar if you are talking about a team from Gorvagh !! Mohill and Eslin were serious rivals at one time. Games abandoned even. The Willies and SOH too. Some great games. I think that a lot of players/clubs/younger men in general have lost the bottle for a good auld battle.

What are these 'religios battles' you speak of allstar. Would they have been like the thirty years war in the Holy Roman Empire or fighting in the Gaza strip? Would there have been cases of genocide? Surely this is a matter for the Gardaí. Have you reported it?
