Lads, Dublin are finished, that team would never have imploded like that last year. Thet don't have the desire. They have been beaten by every half decent side they've met since the AI, We are far superior in desire at the moment, pity the Leinster final is not next week!!!

Twas a bad show from them last night. They were missing 3 good forward though.I wont say finished. That'll come back to bite you in the ass.I thought Mayo were sharp enough too.Best for the Lillies to concentrate on gettiing out of D2 before any ideas of Leinster spring to mind. They wont give Leinster or Sam up without a ferocious effort ye know. The Dublin foul count was high too. That I think is their weakness.Giving away a serious amount of scoreable frees.

Confident post Lillypad, hope your ready for the backlash now!! I'd love to say i could agree with you but the facts are Dubs are all Ireland and Leinster champs and until we beat them i for one wont be making too many assertions

lilypad, the reality is Dublin needed the legue far more last year than they do this year. Gilroy knows his players a lot better now and they will be peaking a bit later this year. Expect the mother of all battles in Croker in the Leinster final in july.

They are missing their three best forwards. They looked heavy legged, a bit like we were when Monaghan hammered us a few weeks ago. Also, who ever goes to Castlebar and gets a result easily in the league? Not even Kerry could do it, Mayo are good, especially in the league.

All I'm saying lads is from what I can see they don't have it this year. They were almost unbeaten for the whole of 2011, now they're losing any match where they are stretched! The hand is out to be slapped but once you're giving predictions or opinions that is always going to happen at some stage, and it is my personal opinion that Dublin will crash out of Leinster this year, more than likely to us

I see where it might look bad for them but theres a different dynamic to the Leinster and all ireland this year for ovbious reasons. They might peak a bit later .Anyway ur entitled to your opinion,as we all are.

way too early to be making assumptions like that get out of the D2 in to D1 then start the champinship same way as league take nothing for granted one game at a time,Im begining to think we have a few new fans on this sight who are very eager but you can not take any game for granted on previous performance of teams, the dubs will be back in force wait and see they arent going to show their hand too early in the year so dont get carried away. the leinster final is a long way off and who knows what the road is like to it, and where there might be a bad twist, caution is needed Im sure Mcgeeney wont be counting any chickens just yet he knows well football can be a heart breaking game and so do we kildare fans that have been around a while. but the team are looking good and improving with every game so its possitive.

huge difference between league and championship
Fingers crossed we win next Sunday and set up a good test against Tyrone in the Div 2 final.
Then it will be time to assess the team and have a right go at least. We do not need a mentality that from fans or players that Leinster etc is going to be a walk in the park. Need to keep down the hype - I for one believe the hype got to our players in 1998 given the over confidence in the county.
it been to take one game at a time so roll on next Sunday and support the lads against the boys from the West.

hype to an extent got to the team roast but it was mick o dwyer's mistakes that cost it in 1998 anyways focus is on 2012 and this team. no harm in having confidence you need confidence to win but your right one game at a time.

Would love to agree lily pad but fear that league and championship are worlds apart Dublin will be full strength and just peaking. Will be a him dinger of a Leinster final fingers crossed we make it, Meath will be lucky to get to the semi final of Leinster, then a nice early exit from the qualifiers especially without big Joe there
