Junior leagues.

(Oldest Posts First)

The junior leagues are separate to the senior leagues in Kerry yes? In Carlow there is Division 1-5 and that is it but what I gather here is Div 1-5 is all senior teams(clubs 1st teams) and Junior leagues are separate. Dr Crokes B have now entered senior league Div 5 after winning the Junior leagues. Just a quick question. Is this is all clubs second teams? My own club in Carlow has three adult teams. DO Firies have a second team?

Yes the majority of clubs have a B or junior team, they usually line out on a Friday night in whats called the Urban Leagues, The "big" big clubs like the Rockies, Narries and Crokes enter the B teams in the County league proper in the lower divisions and then enter their C team in the urban league... confused or understand?

Only the big big guns: St. Road, Stacks in Tralee, Laune Rangers in Killorglin, Crokes in Killarney, listowel Emmetts are ones that come to mind oh and one I heard a few months back which appeared in a Gaa Quiz, Moyvane, their C team is the Kanockanure A Team ... they are an imalgamation, they enter the North Kerry Novice
