there's 3 coming out of each group. top 2 from each group and best 3rd placed team got straight to 1/4 finals, other two 3rd placed teams play in prelim 1/4 final

Sarsfields and Turlough both through from their group with maximum points so far, still have each other to play but it means little. Ballinasloe and Menlo Emmetts still to play with the winner taking 3rd spot.
Tommy Larkins are through with 7 points from 4 games, with Portumna and Barna/Furbo looking likely to join them barring some unlikely results in their group.
Qualification from Group A is wide open between 4 teams. Sylane and Ballygar lead the way with 6 points each from 4 games, while Athenry and Craughwell both have 4 points from 3 games.
