If sarsfields lost two players then Ballygar will defiantly win there semi. Id say Sylane will win with there experience. I dont think there footballers dont have matches for 3/4 weeks. Ballygar will be tough bet. They did well in the seven's up in dublin and that would bring on any team. Would be nice to see a junior team to win it. Are the semi's this week. It would be nice if there was a double header.

Ballygar through to the final today after beating Sarsfields 1-15 to 2-7. Ballygar the better team, had a shakey spell in the 2nd half where the gap was back to 1 point after 2 fairly soft goals for Sarsfields (either side of halftime), but regained their composure to get a goal of their own and pull away in the end.

I presume the final will be on this coming week end and I expect Ballygar to win but not by much.

I think Ballygar will win it. If they can keep Tom Flynn and Joe Kelly busy in the Athenry half back line they will have a geat chance. Flynn destroyed Sylane in da semi and is definitely plenty good for senior hurling. Will be a great day for all junior clubs if Ballygar can do it.

How would it be a great day for all junior clubs? Ballygar relegated themselves to junior A last year from intermediate, just so they could win something. They are still gud enough for intermediate hurling and are better than a handful of clubs still in intermediate hurling at the moment.

Going for Athenry - come on lads - do us proud.
