Sarsfields the team to beat. Sylane to win the replay. Athenry/Portumna will go nowhere after quarter final. Ballygar going well and will be hard beaten by any team. Depending on how the draws go you'd have to see a Sarsfields Ballygar final.

Saw Sarsfields play turlough last weekend looked very strong especially in the backs but turlough wer awful, have also seen balygar this year and they look very strong aswel so that should be a great game with the winner surely the team to beat then in the final. Think Ballygar might shade having the experience of intermediate behind them?

indeed. sylane-barna replay is due to be played on Saturday week, the 17th.
no result yet from the portumna-athenry match, it was refixed for the friday after the intial fixture, but doesn't seem to have been played then either. I saw that Ger Kelly and Patrick Dolphin both played senior for Portumna against Mullagh, will be big loss for the juniors. Kelly was playing centre-back for them, think Dolphin was in the forwards.

The winners of Sarsfield Ballygar semi will win it. Sars lost 2 players the weekend to Cashel in senior game. Athenry have 4 minors playin and Mickey Crimmins in goal. Sylane will get caught again with football knockout. I reckon Ballygar will beat Athenry in da final
