With 45 Connacht and 9 AI Football titles, I dont understand how you classify Galway as a hurling county.

Replying To tipp11:  "Dunno about galway being top, we did beat them in both tbf, based solely on last year we are the best dual county, changes year on year but on quality alone you can only really count tipp, Cork, galway and Dublin as dual counties in terms of quality....wexford offaly laois and the likes do play both but will threaten in neither"
Have to disagree with you on Tipperary been top of the pile however great credit must be given to the football people in Tipp who against all the odds within the countype have achieved what they have so far. To win an All Ireland minor a few yrs ago and reach last yrs football semifinal is some achievement when you consider that the majority within the county and the county board couldn't give to hoots about them. The county board wouldn't even allow them to play the county final in Thurles which was a disgrace and an insult to the two teams who reached the final and to the hard working football board.
