Replying To Antrimroad:  "So are bredagh forfeiting the Hurley?? That would leave three down teams and a Tyrone team absolute joke"
Who is the Tyrone team??? If you mean Craobh Rua they are South Armagh and have pulled out couldn't field against us last Friday night.....Patrick Rankins (Shamrocks/Warrenpoint/Clonduff) and ORahillys/Carryduff still in our section and due to play next Friday night

Have Bredagh pulled out or just can't play thus Sunday due to football?

Going by the Down website, there football match is fixed for Tuesday night. Might have something to do with their dinner dance.

Baffles me how "o'rahillys"/carryduff can amalgamate when both had strong teams at minor level.

Who Craobh Rua are or aren't doesn't change the fact the competition is becoming a farce at this stage.....if we only end up with four teams it will be very disappointing

Totally agree there, but to be fair it will still mean something to the 4 different panel of lads as it's the only championship some boys are getting to play

Between minor, senior, the Bessy Mason, intermediate and junior, who wouldn't have played in one of those championships?

Not only is your Geography ropey, you're grasp of facts is a tad dicey as well!

You didn't happen to go to St Malachy's on the Antrim Road perchance?

Bredagh wanted the match moved due to their dinner dance on Saturday night, as the match was fixed for 10am on Sunday.
Portaferry agreed for it to be moved to 3pm on Sunday, until they heard that Bredagh had their dinner dance on Saturday.
Portaferry then refused to facilitate the fixture being moved.

Not very sporting by portaferry , you would have thought it would be more important to get kids matches at this time of year to keep then interested rather than taking a hollow walk over victory.

Was fixtured for 12, never heard of a game of hurling being played at "10am" concentrate on your own club

The point still stands that Portaferry wouldn't move the match back by 3 hours, not very sporting at all.
Disappointing that they would rather win by the match via a concession instead of letting their lads play.
