Minor Hurler.

(Oldest Posts First)

Big performance asked today from this team and they certainly delivered! Very windy in IT Carlow against a less talented Meath team and Carlow showed absolutely no mercy by racking up a big score. Looking forward to watching this team again.

Great win for the hurlers. Will be interesting to see how they fare with stronger teams as they move through the competition.

Curious to see the spread of clubs on the team/panel. Saw the team but wasn't sure of the clubs. Anybody have info on this one?

Great to see them winning but questions must be asked as to why we're operating in tier 3.surely tier2 is not beyond us.were we made play in this tier or did we choose to. If we did it's a very poor decision.

Another huge win. THIS time against Down. A game we would expect to win however oir margins of winning are impressive.
Will be interesting to see how they fare in knock out section against stronger opposition

Went to the game yesterday. They are a very good team who have been well coached and have a superb work rate. Hard to fully judge yesterday's game as Down were very poor but you can only beat what's in front of you.

Good to see management use the opportunity to give the panel game time. Conor Kehoe of St Mullins came off just after half time after he knocked over 3 points in a couple of minutes.

We are in Tier 3 because of previous years results. If we beat Westmeath next weekend then we will replace them in Tier 2 for 2020. Fairly sure that's how it works.

Fantastic to see next weekend's minor game against Westmeath is a curtain raiser for the Carlow Kilkenny game. Will be a great occasion for those chaps.

This team is tipping along very nicely under a very good management team. The last few years were a bit of a disaster at this level and the reason we are in tier3 is because of very poor results over the last 2 years. Things are being rectified this year but Sunday is huge game and hopefully the home crowd will be in the grounds for 1pm to cheer them on

The team in big and strong and has quality players and Sunday will be a other step in their development. CK will learn a lot more about the panel and hopefully they can get over this hurdle. Its a step the team is capable of making and moving on again.
