Justice?
Also, the trial was put back because so many of the witnesses would be unavailable until after the euros. No harm keeping the truth in there also... Finally, if he is guilty the most he can get fined is 2500 pounds, hardly a punishment for him...

This is too serious a matter for people to want him to be found guilty just because they don't like him. Hopefully justice prevails, whatever the verdict may be

Jury what jury, it's a magistrate court. I don't know some people.... Lets hope he gets what he deserves we have seen enough of these racist s**m b**s to last a life time.
It will be interesting to see if the FA grow a pair if justice prevails or will they protect their own? I suspect the later....

Ahhh yew tee, if I remember rightly, with the Suarez/Evra thread it read Evra was this Evra was that. Not the other way round. The poor lad who was abused got nailed as the wrong doer. Happy to be corrected though.... :) Funny I don't rember Suarez getting much stick at all. And even when proven beyond doubt he was guilty he still got away with murder.... I said it at the time and I stand by it now he should have received a 2 year ban min. Kicked out of the prem would have been the obvious option, but we all know that they couldn't do that with the Terry incident hovering... Suarez was a very lucky boy IMO.
The key is to wait for the end of the trial and then we can have our say. Let's see what happens before we start to criticize too much. As much as I don't like the guy and it would seem obvious through the lip readers he has been racially abusing Ferdinand a fair and right minded person will wait for the course of law and order to prove what seems obvious........

Manc is correct, let's wait and see how it all ends up before we start condemning the man. Thankfully this is a court of law and not an FA enquiry so we can be confident that the defendant will get a fair and unbiased hearing

I've always found it laughable that John Terry is regularly held up as 'the bad guy' of football, Ashley Cole not far behind. Meanwhile other players from other clubs have arguably done much worse - I'll use Giggs as the example here, and he now captains the GB Olympic team. Am i the only one that finds the portrayal of certain players over others shockingly biased here?

What Ryan Giggs does in his personal life is his business and not ours. John Terry, allegedly, racially abused a fellow footballer on the field of play. What Giggs done has nothing to do with football, what Terry, allegedly, did has.

I agree with Mayoboy here. Prem footballers live their lives in the spotlight whether they like it or not and are just as likely to feature on the front pages as they are the back. Lets face it few if any of them can be held up as a shining example, even the sainted D Beckham very publicly cheated on his wife and yet he is held up as the very paragon of virtue. John Terrys actions, if he is guilty, were moronic at best and at worst sinister, they were done on the field of play in front of thousands in the crowd and millions on TV, there is no comparison to Ryan Giggs indiscretions.

You miss the point, I'm not talking about the pending verdict in his upcoming case or even alleged racism.
Terry and Cole are vilified regularly in media and other forums for their reported off field antics, before this case ever came to light. I'm curious how Cole and Terry's alleged affairs are considered worse than Giggs, or Rooney for that matter. That is my point. There can be no doubt that the clubs and bias play their part in that portrayal.

I don't get your point at all. Giggs and Rooney were absolutely pilloried for their affairs.

I could be wrong but neither Giggs nor Rooney have a history of shooting trainees with pellet guns or taking backhanders to give journos a private tour of your clubs training facilities. Like I say, I'm open to correction!

I find it curious however that Terry was stripped of being English captain for an affair, whilst Giggs is now captain of the GB team after an affair. How does that work?

I find it curious that you are ignoring the fact Terry got re-instated as captain and lost it again for yet another indiscretion. Maybe your lack of knowledge is the reason for your confusion?

Not at all, I'm just saying you fella's on this forum are fond of taking the high moral ground when your part of the Irish race who are without doubt some of the most racist on earth.
I don't vilify a man for something he may or may not have said, or may or may not have done. To be honest I don't even care about the case or the man it's laughable however how some of you lads go on like you haven't made a mistake in your life. Time to get real me thinks.
Oh, wait, anonymity, that washes the internet commentator from all his sins I forgot lads.
