Tommy Bourke from upperchurch has been showing a bit of promise of late!

Yeah I've heard lots of good things about Dwyer too. O'Neill and Morris are good too. Will the Viking Maher or Hennessy step up to the plate next year?

Good call on the Tommy Bourke shout. perhaps another year yet, but could be argue for a crack at the whip this year too, had a very good game against sars in the u21 apparently.

Great to see someone else along the same lines, was at that Sars game myself and it only confirmed my beliefs. Give the boy a good winters training and he'll be in the mix, so far so good on the developmental curve.

dont no has bourke made dat step up yet... saw his cameo appearance against mullinahone in d senior and he seemed a little light, he is hurling with his college, mary i, at corner forward and to me he's more of an engine room midfielder... poor mans james woodlock... have any of u seen corner back chris horan from mullinahone... very versatile and i think he has the right attitude... like to see him get a fair chance, cos he defo deserves 1....

Understand what your saying about Bourke, could do with more physique. That said, we'll give him time. Correct bout the corner forward position though, but Mary I have good midfield options with Shane McGrath and Paidi O'Dwyer. Perhaps Eire Og Annacarthy's O'Sullivan would be a better corner forward option but Bourke's worth a try. Saw Horan in action for Mullinahone early this year too and was unfortunate not to feature more later in the year. For a small corner back he's well able to snap a ball from the sky, whammy an incoming forward, and give a nice dink out of the backline.

I agree with your discription of horan even if it is an infrequent discription, havent seen him at senior level but iv caught him in action at underage, suspect to the odd dirty stroke but i suppose being nice gets you nowhere.
