I saw Dunboyne?Ashbourne game. Thought Sean Curran looked impressive marking Donal Lenihan, who has been the stand out forward in the championship so far."
Seans a good player and good athlete..

Donal was sick and not certain to play, and it wasn't a game suited to forwards really as the scoreline will tell you. However you won't find anyone on here that's called for Curran to be in the Meath squad more than I have. Mind you he would be if he hadn't walked, perhaps he'll have more interest now with Andy Mac.

care to throw any names out there. wouldn't say they have any standout players but more a very good solid team who know how to play to their strengths.

James Toher from m Trim should be given a chance . conor Nash and Brian Mcgrath from simonstown also . Shane Geraghty is going to play a real Keeper. Think Paddy o rourke will be given a go out the field

Brian Conlon and Padriag McKeever worth a look from Simonstown?

I think Brian Conlon might still be a bit young but I would him a chance. Another player that impressed me in the Simonstown game was their number 7, Kane. Have seen him in 3 or 4 games this year and think he would be good enough for the county panel.

Are there any documented cases of a player returning to play ball after a cruciate injury? It's hard enough to do in a professional sport let alone in the GAA. Real shame too as he and Rooney would have been some pairing.

Anthony Burke from Dul/Bel was close enough to making to squad last year. I am not sure how he got on since.
