Absolute nonsense, just about holding his place. From an Omahonys man who has seen him in action plenty of times against our club and for Louth he is a very talented footballer who can produce something out of nothing and is always a danger . Would def be on starting 15

Big Jim scored 1-09 as he leads the Gers to the top of the table.

Division 1 is shaping up after three rounds to being a very interesting league again this year.
As Ollie says Gers lead with 6 points.followed by
St Mary's and Deeadnots on 4. They have to meet in an outstanding game.
Jocks and St. Pats are also on 4.
St.Brides ,Cooley,SOM, Rats and Clans have 2
Blues have 1 with Mattock pointless.
The next round will be played on Friday night.

There was a tight tough game in Lordship yesterday between Pats and SOM. . The lead changed a number of time before Pats winning point in the last minute. Both finished with 14. Both also were short a number of men from the champs of '15 and '16 particularly John O 'B and Paddy . Hope we see them in action later this year.
Their Championship meeting is something to look forward to.

It was a another tense battle alright, played in terrible windy conditions as with most other games. 2 sending offs although it's wasn't particularly a dirty game, lots of great scores from distance in particular Pats.
Hopefully Paddy keeps going around the world again ha ha

Paddy and Jim not in same category. Paddy is Louths greatest by a distance. Shane Lennon is more comparable to Jim although Shane has done more and lead the line much more as a sole focal point. Jim is like A. Hoey, solid county player in positions 10-15, but as regards class and ability paddy is out in his own.

Paddy Keenan is in a league of his own alright. Probably the best footballer to put on a Wee County jersey in the last thirty years. He is our All Star, our number 8, our captain leader and our leader.

All you have to do is click the particular division/competition which is located above the results of a particular division and it will bring up the table

Good league This is. Blues when at full strength are ahead of everyone else. That is some hammering. It will take a few kicks and a bad performance from them to stop 3 in a row.

Are we in to the star season? I presume the games this week-end and next will be star games.

Was at our match last night V Mattock. Can't understand how or why they play on their second pitch. Yes it has lights, but the condition of it is terrible, all bumpy and patchy looking.that game should have been on a different day on the main pitch.
Can anyone explain to me why they didn't put the flood lights on the main pitch?

Early signs suggesting Clogher could be set for a good run at Joe Ward this year, some new young lads have brought some energy to the team! Ardee and the Gers also seem to be flying at the moment, but will they have the know how to keep this pace for the rest of the year? Very interesting game last night in Newfoundwell between last years league and championship finalists, both teams struggled at times finding scores, the two outstanding players on the pitch were two of the youngest players on the pitch! Daire Nally of the Blues and Conor Morgan of the Martins, both were their respective teams go to men and it was very positive to see in terms of the future for the county setup in Louth, both players still eligible to play u20 football with Louth this year, great to see these clubs bringing through young players!

Great to have Paddy back, the best player to ever wear a Louth Jersey! Any sign of O Connor coming back...
