results starting to get back to the norm. sarsfields taught a lesson yesterday as were the other teams that should struggle

Looks like no one wants to win div 2. Lamb Derg, Gortnamona and Tir na nog 1 off these 3 to go down. anyone of the other 5 could win the league including Rossa after thier bad start. didnt expect the paddies to beat st galls but this result has thrown it wide open.

think st galls had a few missing against sarsfields . still good result for the paddies though . i agree i think other results have helped rossa come back into contention for the league . didnt see their result last night though , was game even played????

Really redmick ? Don't think they were? Although sarsfields were still missing about 3 starters . Your getting a bit boring on putting sarsfields down , you always seem to have an excuse when they win and then you are right there to pounce when they loose. Even if they don't win another match they've still done more than what anyone expected them to do so far but tale it from me , not one of them care what the likes of you think . Div 2 is still wide open, Even Rossa could still go up . Early days yet . Tight competetive league

Did Ciaran McGourty and Carl Stewart play as I know they were injured for the Antrim game last week. Also heard Seam McAreavey was injured. Did Aidso make it back from the county football in time to play?

I'm not having a go or putting Sarsfields down as I don't know the answers to the questions above but I thought St Galls were missing a few too.

really horse****??? that what you think ? not puting anyone down just calling it as i see it. has what i said been wrong - about st galls missing players or carey teaching them a lesson . sarsfields are doing well at the minute as you say still early days in league although i do think they will stay up . they actually could be top of that league only for lack of discipline from certain players . and before you have a heart attack i think they are a good team some excellent young players and i think their manager mc garrigle has made a big difference to their hurling along with his assistant kevo .

Discipline does seem to be a problem with Sarsfields. Karl Stewart was playing came on and scored 1-4 or close to that in second half. Sarsfields were the better team but didnt use their scoring chances - think they may lack in confidence. The age of the team is interesting - only one or two players over 23? Correct me if im wrong! Kevo junior, Mark Rea, loughran and ryan o neill? missing. Think they will have an interesting future. I think it was only Kevo managing them. n

Most shocking hurling result to date has been the senior loss to Westmeath, hope the lads turn it around and make the quarters at least. On the home front , Dunloy are taking their time to get up & running this year in div 1, when they do ,Mushy will have them taking a scalp or 2.. Everyone has thier opinion on div 2, i go for a surprise winner here, take your pick of 5 teams. while div 3 will go to the wire with Clooney gaels,st Pauls ,Cloughmills & Armoy fighting for top spot. Sad to hear Glenarm loosing a lot of players.

I am going to rock the boat and say dunloy to be in a relegation dog fight all year and might just manage to avoid the drop.
St Galls to win div 2, tir na nog to be relegated
Clooney Gaels win Div 3, Glenarm nearly relegated already, such an unfortunate sight, they have some good young hurlers coming through
St teresa's to win Div4 at a canter!

this weekend will be a tough game for us. it will only be our 2nd home game in the league with 3 away games to the two form teams in the league.

win this and we can work from it but ballycastle look very good this season and have some great young players.

In reply to Dunloy realist I think you will be hard to stop this year especially after a convincing victory over a lot of mostly tired U21's who won the U21 title on Saturday night in a pulsating encounter with Cushendall.

Does anyone agree that it would benefit all that Div1 Hurling be made into a 12 team league. This would improve hurling in Belfast, and given the number of city players on the Antrim team that play in Div 2, it would benefit them by playing at a higher level week in week out. Even a 10 team league as with the football would help. We have 3 teams from Down in Div 1 at the expense of teams like Rossa, St Galls and Glenarrif who wouldnt be outa place in it.

WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU THINK THAT" ROSSA WOULDNT BE OUT OF PLACE IN DIV 1". when was the last time they competed in that league what makes you think they deserve to be there its not as if they are easily beating teams in div 2 . i agree with maybe extending the league by a few teams but dont think any team from div 2 has an automatic right to be in div 1 . as you can see by the results in div 2 top team only beat 2nd bottom team by 1 point other results show any team can win on the day . div 2 is the most competitive league in antrim

were we playing ballycastle U21's on sunday night? is pinky, causey, neil mc auley U21? in fact i think use had 7 out of a starting 15 that played U21 the night before. our boys have a game the mara night, sat night and then some have 2 football matches next week as well.

use a better excuse next time for being beat. better team won, end of.

would just like people to read back at WONDERINGS comments on 24-4-12 and on 26-4-12, things have certainly changed round from these petty comments were made, more people will be laughing at you now than laughed with you then.

well after 11 straight wins and after a nightmare start to the league rossa are back in division 1 hurling, just a look back on the comments made after their first 3 games will give rossamen a big grin, just goes to show with hard work and coming together anything is possible. what happened to glenarrfe? they seemed to be coasting to division 1 but a couple of draws and a complete falling apart against rossa and a stag do thrown in for good measure seen them fall at the death. with the talent coming through at rossa im sure they will consolidate division 1 status and build for the future which certainly looks bright.
