Anyone would look good against Ahoghill or Carey

Have to agree with JJ. Quality of hurling in div 2 is abysmal in general. Ballycastle will bounce straight up tanking everyone along the way.

Other than Ballycastle I'd fancy Cushendall, Loughgiel and Dunloy reserves to beat everyone in division 2

These teams should be playing in Div 2.instead of some pointless reserve league.

A couple of years ago we would have fancied our chances against Dublin, after today's display by the Dubs it looks as though we've been left well behind. Why?

In Dublin's last championship match they were beaten by Antrim. I don't agree with Dinny's attitude to the league but you can't argue with his record in the championship. Last year was Antrim's best championship season since the early 90's. We have no reason to fear Dublin, Offaly, Wexford or Clare.

Or going by yesterday's result if we don't fear Dublin Kilkenny should be no problem ??

We'd need to be at full strength to beat any of them,no easy games at this level. Where does Antrim stand in the hurling ratings.
1.Kilkenny
2.Tipperary
3.Dublin
4.Cork
5.Galway
6.Waterford
7.Limerick
8.Clare
9.Wexford
10.Offaly
11.Laois
12.Antrim

Bushwacker don't kid yourself, Kilkenny will beat Dublin in the championship. I don't see a team that couldn't beat us last year troubling the kilkennys and the tipperarys of this world.

Dublin have moved onwards and upwards since then, they always had the potential, just needed a good manager with a bit of common sense.

We know that,it's just that things are clicking in to place for him now. This team will be hard to beat. They literally destroyed Kilkenny.

Lads was just wondering has the Antrim panel been hit by emigration at all?? Some of the counties down south I know are having trouble, wonder is it the same in the North?

Can anyone shed any light on the hurling fixtures this weekend. So far they are still on for 3.30 start, the same time as the Antrim vs Donegal game. I would fully expect and can understand if they were off but once again at this stage in the week its seems that no one can make a decision as to whether they are definitely on or off and all players are left wondering whats going on

I hear all clubs concerned have to agree an alternative suitable date and then seek permission from the CCC if they want to postpone their fixture on Sunday. All done through the official channels of course. I wouldn't just sit back and hope for the best.

Any thoughts on the team for Saturday?

Think you're undervaluing the Herrons a bit there. Ciaran and Michael were always consistent enough for county. I remember Brendan in Dinny's first spell was very good.
