Another desperately disappointing year for my beloved Sixmilebridge, yet another Championship Exit. I really thought this year would be our year, but we have been poor all year and we didn't hurl at all for the first 30 minutes against Cratloe. But in fairness we played really well in the second half and should have at least got a draw. But 30 minutes of hurling will not win you Championship games. I mean we played really well in the second half and if we had been doing that all year we would be a real force in Clare hurling, because on paper we are the best team in Clare. But as everyone knows you win nothing on paper.
