If you are staying in the city centre then there are not too many GAA clubs about there to go back to; they are all in West and North Belfast. There is St. Galls not too far from Casement or Davitts in the lower Falls which are decent clubs and a few decent pubs and clubs in West Belfast that are not directly attached to the GAA but where you will get a pint. Probably better to head to the Whitefort or Felons after the game while Maddens in the city centre always has a bit of trad music as does Robinsons sometimes or around the Cathedral Quarter in lower Donegall Street. If you have time call into the Belfast Tourist Centre in Royal Avenue and ask or get a copy of the Andersonstown or North Belfast News; they always have places advertising Irish music nights etc.

After the game you could do worse than call into the social club at Casement Park. It will be busy but will be packed with GAA people, and if you happen to be wearing your county or club shirt you'll not be left standing for long without the natives exchanging some friendly banter...

Thanks lads for the replies appreciate it , the Social Club in Casement Park sounds the best bet were up for a bit of Gaa banter lol and was told about St Galls aswell so either way should be a bit craic . Thanx again

Hi All,

Hope the Match for Michaela goes really well and the weather is kind. It will be interesting to see if a gifted Ulster selection can put up a game to the champions elect.
If the weather is chilly Biddy Duffies welcomes one and all before and after the game for a warm drink or food upstairs. We are just across the road from Casement Park. Come in join us, give us your opinion or let us know how the game went before the ball has dried!
