rossa to win i think

St Pauls V Tir na Nog - St Pauls
Moneyglass V Lamh Dhearg -Lamh Dhearg
Dunloy V Gort Na Mona - Gort Na Mona

Lamh Dhearg should be good this year as should Cargin, but I think Creggan might just squeeze it. Lamh Dhearg, Creggan final maybe, them 2 teams have won all the minor championships in the last 3 or 4 years so they are probably the favourites

i believe this year will be a good championship as there will be 4 or 5 teams in with a shout

I agree battler. Normally the minor championship is a good steer on who has a chance. The last 3winners were Creggan, Lamh Dhearg and St Johns I think all 3 win go close.

Rossa 0-7 0-12 Portglenone
Glenavy 0-11 1-6 St Bridgid's
St Pauls 1-3 1-9 Cargin
Creggan 4-16 1-8 St Galls
Lamh Dhearg 0-0 0-0 Ciceam Ard Eoin - Ardoyne Conceded
Aghagallon 0-0 0-0 Tir Na nOg - Aghagallon Conceded
Aldergrove 0-6 6-18 St John's
Dunloy 5-12 1-6 Moneyglass

No real shocks there although I thought Rossa would have beat Portglenone.

So the Quarter finals are:

Lamh Dhearg V Creggan
Glenavy V Portglenone
St Johns V Dunloy
Cargin V Tir Na nOg

Any thoughts on who might get through these games, or who might win the championship?

Quarter Finals.
Lamh Dhearg V Creggan - Tie of the round winner of competiton will come from this game - A Toss up Creggan to come out on top as they had a game with St Galls.
Glenavy V Portglenone - Another close one maybe home advantage to sway it for Glenavy.
St Johns V Dunloy - St Johns to win
Cargin V Tir Na nOg - Cargin at a stroll

Despite having a very young team I think St. John's will win this tournament with relative ease. Such a talented group they have coming through.

POL's prediction was for last years competition. I think St Johns and Cargin will make it through with room to spare. Glenavy will get through, I think home advantage will put the tie in their favour. The other game is too close to call, maybe home advantage will help LD maybe it wont. St Johns are a very good team and I think they'll make the final alongside either Cregan or Lamh Dhearg

Ulster Minor Champions 2010 Lamh Dearg should be winning the U-21 Antrim C'ship with plenty to spare...

One of the main contenders for this years championship would of been Rasharkin only lost one player from last years semi final side and have one of the best if not the best young minor footballer to add to that team. Creggan and Rasharkin had some battles since u12 at this age group. The winner of the competition will be winner of LD and Creggan without doubt the two best teams in this years championship. It will be a tight one could go either way. By the way im not saying Rasharkin should have been allowed in this year just saying if they had been they would of been a threat to avoid any arguments.

Watched Creggan against a very poor Gall's in the under-21 first round rout...............think the future will not be Blue in Antrim football..............unless the Milltown men can raid a few clubs............

First 3 Quarter Finals finished:

Lamh Dearg 0-09 0-11 Creggan
Glenavy 1-05 1-12 Portglenone
St Johns 2-14 0-05 Dunloy

St Johns and Dunloy meet in the semis and Creggan to play the winners of Cargin and Tir Na nOg, can't see cargin not winning that one.

Bit quiet on this topic lately. Fantastic final on Friday night with St Johns deserved winners against a big Creggan team. St Johns played some wonderful football on the night-great year for them winning back to back minor double as well...
