Wicklow defender Ciaran Hyland
Wicklow defender Ciaran Hyland is adamant that his side are capable of causing another upset when they travel to Dr Cullen Park this Saturday to take on Laois in the Leinster SFC quarter-finals. Mick O'Dwyer's charges sent shock waves throughout the county when saw off Kildare in their opening Leinster SFC match earlier in the month and the Garden still remain as underdogs for this weekend's clash. "We're going in as underdogs against but we've heard that Laois are wary of us. There's talk of them missing one or two players but we can only beat what's put in front of us and Laois have been brilliant in Leinster in recent years, winning the title and contesting finals. "We are so confident and we're travelling to Carlow not looking at anything other than a win." Hyland himself looks likely to miss his side's meeting with the O'Moore County after sustaining a finger injury in training six weeks ago which has ruled him out for at least a further week.
