Longford.......1-13
A hat-trick of goals from full forward Wayne O'Gorman helped Wicklow to a hard-earned victory over Longford in the National Hurling League Division 2B clash at Arklow.
The home side led by 0-12 to 0-5 at the interval, but Longford had reduced the deficit to four points after 45 minutes thanks to scores from midfielder Sean Browne and corner forward Mark Cassidy.
O'Gorman, however, took centre stage in the final 20 minutes with his three-goal salvo ending the game as a contest.
