An ankle injury sustained while playing soccer has put a doubt on Wexford footballer PJ Banville's participation in this year's Leinster championship. Banville is most definitely out of the Model County's opening Leinster championship clash against either Wicklow or Louth and could well miss the next two months. The injury occurred a few weeks back, but it was hoped that the talented corner forward would recover in time for the first round of the provincial campaign, however, the Horsewood clubman has responded slowly to treatment.
