Westmeath manager Paidi O Se has insisted that he has nothing to do with Rory O'Connell's High Court case against the GAA. The suspended Athlone midfielder goes to the High Court on Monday, July 12, to seek an injunction which would free him to play in next Sunday's Leinster football final against Laois. Bur writing in his Sunday newspaper column, O Se said: "We haven't involved ourselves in any way with Rory O'Connell's legal case against his three-month suspension. "It is a personal thing with him. Of course our hearts go out to him and we would be delighted if he could win a Leinster championship and play some part in our year and we would love to have him involved but I am not getting involved in what is a private matter for Rory. We will stay concentrating on the match with Laois next Sunday. "It is a decision totally up to himself whether he wants to go to the courts or not ñ any player of the calibre of Rory O'Connell from any county would have my sympathy if they missed three championship games. "It is very tough on him after putting in a lot of hard work through the winter," O Se added. Tweet
