Youngsters called into panel

Waterford manager Davy Fitzgerald has included a number of new players in the squad for the coming year including last year's minor captain Martin O'Neill.
Also drafted into the squad have been under-21 stars Stephen Daniels and Eoin Whelan. Fitzgerald and his selectors ran the rule over a number of fringe players during two trial matches against a Wexford development squad and Waterford IT.
Waterford begin their season with a match against Cork IT in the Waterford Crystal tournament on Sunday week, January 17th at Ballyduff Upper.
