Donegal NY Seniors' playoff hopes now seem just wishful thinking after a 2-16 to 1-10 loss to Cork that was never as close as the scoreline. The "soft rain" didn't hinder either side and Cork were firmly in control from the opening whistle, winning almost every break and seemingly scoring at will. A Donegal win over Tyrone on the 29th may only salvage pride for this campaign. The Junior side sits atop the table awaiting the result of a Monaghan v Tyrone final tie.
