Emmetts suffer Walsh blow
August 09, 2012
Defending London hurling champions Robert Emmetts have suffered a setback in their quest to win back to back SHC titles.
Emmetts must plan without star defender Mick Walsh for the remainder of the campaign as the Cork native has opted to transfer back to his home club, Kildorrey.
This is added to the fact that they have already lost John Anderson, Eddie Brennan, Aidan Fitzgerald and Paul Kennedy from last year's squad.
The London senior hurling championship seems to be wide open this year as Emmetts, St Gabriel's and Kilburn Gaels are all leading the chasing pack.
