Walsh returns for Emmetts
November 17, 2011
Robert Emmetts manager Mick O'Dea has declared a fully fit squad to face Moycullen in the All-Ireland club IHC.
Michael Walsh has returned to full fitness having suffered a shoulder injury during the county final win over St Gabriels in early October.
The 25-year-old's return is a huge boost to the Emmetts as they take on the Galway champions, but they must plan without Paul Kennedy, who has emigrated to Australia.
Nonetheless, O'Dea is delighted to have Walsh back in the fray as the Cork man has a wealth of experience having lined out for his native county in the NHL earlier this year.
"Mick has been out for a while but he's back to full fitness now and ready for action.
"He's a massively important player for us and would be a loss to any team so we're delighted that he'll be available," the Emmetts manager told the Irish Post.
