Roche calls time on refereeing career
January 25, 2011
Tipperary referee Seamus Roche
Tipperary referee Seamus Roche has called time on his career in inter-county hurling.
Roche was the man in the middle for the 2005 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final between Cork and Galway, having operated as a linesman at two previous deciders.
However, he has absented himself from the provincial and national panels for the 2011 campaign and has decided to bring the curtain down on his inter-county career.
He will remain active at club level in Tipperary, where he is a member of the Kilsheelan-Kilcash club.
