SFC Round 2  Simonstown 1-10 Dunshaughlin 0-12  Simonstown maintained their 100% start to the 2006 Meath SFC with another one point victory in round 2, this time against Dunshaughlin in Pairc Tailteann on Sunday, April 23rd.  Robbie Boyle goaled in the 5th minute of the game to give the Navan side a perfect start but, nonetheless, Dunshaughlin went in at the break leading by 0-9 to 1-4.  Shane O'Neill pointed inside 30 seconds of the restart to narrow the gap to the minumum but by the 10th minute of the second half Dunshaughlin had opened up a four point and the signs were ominous for the team in sky blue. Dunshaughlin failed to score for the remainder of the contest, however, as three pointed frees from Wayne McCarthy brought Colm O'Rourke's charges back into contention.   O'Neill levelled matters with his third point of the game in the 19th minute of the second half and substitute Cian McGrath's 25th minute effort proved to be the difference between the two sides at the final whistle.  Simonstown - G Lynch; W Stynes, A Meade, B Flood; H Traynor (0-1), S Kenny, N Kearney; S O'Neill (0-3), P Meade; S Kennedy, E Kelly, D Corcoran; W McCarthy (0-5), R Boyle (1-0), J Lunney.
