Dunboyne's bid for a second Meath SFC title has been boosted this year by the recruitment of former Kerry footballer David Geaney from Dingle.
27 year old Geaney is based in Dublin where he teaches in Gaelcolaiste Reachrann in Donaghmede.
He moved to the capital last August and trained with Dunboyne before they made their exit from the championship at the hands of Donaghmore/Ashbourne in the quarter-final stages.
He lined out at left corner-forward on the Dingle team that lost last year's Kerry SFC final to Dr Crokes and was previously involved with Jack O'Connor's Kingdom squad.
Croke Park has approved his intercounty transfer request and he will be a big addition to Dunboyne who have a new manager this year in former player Conor O'Donoghue.
