A Meath Hill player was sadly killed in a road accident on the way to watch Saturdays Junior D final

The deceased was a regular on the club's Junior A side and was on route to Navan to watch his club mates.

The sad news arrived at Pairc Tailteann during the opening half and understandably the game was abandoned at half time
