AFL 2: K'Wood lose to Na Fianna
March 01, 2010
Kilmainhamwood's Andy Farrelly
Na Fianna easily came over Kilmainhamwood on Sunday afternoon in Kilmainhamwood.
Kilmainhamwood 0-05
Na Fianna 0-12
Na Fianna led by two points at half time, six points to four, and were well worth their advantage, with Ollie Lewis the most impressive player on view. Kilmainhamwood's scores came through three Stephen Kiernan frees and a Padraic Owens point.
The second half got worse for the Wood in which they only got a free from Kiernan on the scoreboard. The introduction of Jamie Queeney for the visitors at half time paid off as his three points, together with scores from Dean Henrick and Dec Brennan, got them over the line.
Best for the visitors were Stephen Smith in defence while Andy Farrelly battled well in Midfield.
