Kilmainhamwood let victory slip in this north meath derby whith the concession of 1-03 in the last five minutes in Castletown on Tuesday evening.
David Russell got the wood of the mark with a point from play to which Castletown responded with two frees. Ray Magee opened hit account for the day for the Wood from a free. The sides traded points with the Woods score coming from Russell. Michael Shankey and Magee pointed to put two between the sides. Castletown responded with three points of which one was a free to leave them a point ahead at the break.

Magee then scored a goal for the wood to open a 6 point lead. Castletown responded with a free. Veteran sub Aiden Crosbie then pointed from an awkward position to regain the 6 point lead. However Castletown piled on the pressure in the last five minutes to score 1-3 from play to leave the sides level at full time, with the goal coming from Darren Finney.
