Navan O'Mahonys 2-13 Blackhall Gaels 0-9 Navan O'Mahonys saw off the challenge of Blackhall Gaels by a comfortable ten points last Saturday evening at Pairc Tailteann to book their place in a third straight Meath SFC final where they will meet Summerhill. The winners thundered into a 0-7 to nothing lead after the opening 20 minutes of play, with the superb David Bray bagging a hat-trick of points and Cormac McGuinness, Henry Finnegan and Stephen Bray all sending over the rest of the points. Blackhall got off the mark three minutes later through Sean Whelan raising a white flag, which was backed up by Tadgh Brosnan moments after, but the game was effectively over as a contest when David Bray set up his brother Stephen in front of goal and the county man made no mistake in finding the net, putting his side 1-9 to 0-2 to the good at the interval. Three minutes into the restart Sean Keating confirmed Sean Kelly's side's final place when he hoisted the game's second green flag after David Bray had picked the pocket of opposing 'keeper Martin Whelan and found a waiting Keating who dually dispatched the ball to the back of the net. Blackhall registered seven points in the second-half thanks to the sound free-taking of Brosnan, and scores from Mark Mullaly and Sean Whelan, but it would never be enough as O'Mahony's had done enough in the first 40 minutes of this encounter to ensure a meeting with Summerhill, who defeated Wolfe Tones in the other semi-final, in the county decider, where they will look to end an 11-year wait for the Keegan Cup.
