Louth forward Shane Lennon is out of action for at least a few weeks after suffering a broken thumb. The Kilkerley Emmets clubman sustained the injury during the national football league defeat of Waterford. Fortunately, the Wee County have already qualified for Division One, so Lennon's absence will be of little consequence for this weekend's Round Seven meeting with Westmeath. The injury will be of concern to Eamonn McEneaney, however, as Louth have a Division Two NFL semi-final to play against as-yet-undetermined opposition on Easter Sunday. Tweet
