Limerick recall Quane
February 12, 2004
John Quane in possession
Former International Rules player John Quane will make his first start of the year for Division 1B table-toppers Limerick against Wexford at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday 15th February.
Quane, who is the only remaining link with the Limerick team which lost the 1991 Munster final to Kerry, replaces the injured Jason Stokes at midfield. Stokes has been ruled out with a toe injury he suffered in the win over Cavan last weekend.
Quane was introduced as a substitute for Timmy Carr against Cavan and his recall marks the only change in the side.
Limerick (SF v Wexford): S O'Donnell; M O'Riordan, J McCarthy, T Stack; P Browne, S Lucey, D Reidy; J Quane, T Carroll; S Kelly, M Gavin, C Mullane; M Horan, J Murphy, E Keating.
