London ladies earn semi-final place

The London ladies powerful display has been rewarded with an All Ireland semi final spot. On Sunday in Ruislip London beat Louth to gain a place in the semi final of the All Ireland ladies junior football championship London hit the field running, and were a goal and two points up after ten minutes with points by Shauna Keogh and a super strike for a goal by the impressive Hannah Noonan. Claire Towey was giving the Louth backs a torrid time and weighed in with two great points before full forward Linda Lodge turned to blast to the bottom right corner of the Louth net , London now up at the break 2-04 to Louth's 0-05, it was an amazing performance as London kicked into the teeth of a very strong wind for that half With the wind behind them they laid siege on the Louth goal but scores were slow in coming, Shauna Keogh got them off the mark, then Natalie O'Connor powred through from her centrefield berth to score a point, London were cruising but back came Louth with a goal, but again Claire Towey hit over two superb points to close out the game London 2-10 Louth 1-07 London are on the Croke Park trail again and now meet Wicklow in the semi final .
