Ladies happy with progress

Donegal Senior Ladies manager Dominic McGlinchey is in confident mood ahead of his teams First Round Qualifier against Kildare in Breffni Park. Despite losing out by a single point to Monaghan in the Ulster Championship McGlinchey feels his team can match the best in the country on their day. Speaking to the Donegal Democrat he said "I feel we are at a level where we have the potential to beat most teams in the country. Cork are a bit ahead of the rest but after that on our day I feel we are capable of beating any of the other teams still in the Championship." Looking towards the match with Kildare McGlinchey appears likely to start with much the same 15 that began the Monaghan game. He continues, "Team wise there will not be any great changes from Monaghan except we might move things around a little in attack. We need to get a little more out of the forwards."
