London ladies are making final preparations for their trip to take on Derry this weekend, in the All Ireland Junior championship, the match takes place on Sunday at Watty Graham Park Glen Maghera, with Dubliner Keith Tighe as Referee. Derry opened their account last weekend with a hard fought 1-07 TO 0-07 points win over Louth in Darver. London have a small squad but will travel with confidence, to take on the team with whom they played out a thrilling draw in Ruislip in the same competition last year although there have been several changes in personel on the London side from that day Hopefully as many people as possible will get to Glen on Sunday at 3pm to cheer on London The following Sunday London entertain Louth in Ruislip with the two top teams in the group going through to the semi final. London this Sunday will also be unveiling their new playing strip, which heralds a major sponsorship deal with Ballymore, and all involved in London ladies football are most grateful for their very generous assistance.
