Kildare's Anthony Rainbow
One of the true greats of Kildare football, Anthony Rainbow is to be honoured in a fundraising game at St Conleth's Park, Newbridge on Saturday, November 20th.

Proceeds from the game between a Kildare selection and a rest of Ireland squad will go to Club Kildare, St Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh and John of Gods, Celbridge but the event is to honour the talented Rainbow, who represented the county with distinction over the past 18 years.

A star studded rest of Ireland team is to feature some of the game's greats including Dara O'Se, Seamus Moynihan, Oisin McConville, Kieran McGeeney, Graham Geraghty and Peter Canavan to name just a few.

Rainbow is a true legend within the game and all fans are urged to come out and honour the Suncroft player, who announced his retirement after this year's All-Ireland semi final defeat to Down.
