Four in-a-row for Kilmoyley

Kilmoyley......3-15 Causeway.........2-9 Shane Brick scored 2-6 as Kilomoyley emulated Causeway by winning their fourth Kerry SHC title on the trot at a wet and windy Austin Stack Park, Tralee on Sunday, October 3. Causeway got off to a great start and led by 1-4 to 0-1 before Brick blasted a free to the net in the 20th minute to bring Kilmoyley back into contention. The champions went on to lead by 1-6 to 1-4 at the interval but Causeway hit back on the restart with a goal from Stephen Goggin. However, Kilmoyley were back in the driving seat when 41-year-old substitute Christy Walsh goaled with his first touch in the 40th minute. Kilmoyley had Sean Fitzgerald sent off in the final quarter, but still finished strongly with Brick's second goal in the 58th minute sealing victory.
