Wexford hurling manager Colm Bonnar says the Model County are looking forward to the "huge challenge" of facing Clare.

The sides meet in a crucial NHL Division Two clash at Cusack Park on Sunday and Bonnar believes there'll be no shortage of desire from his understrength team:

"It will be a huge challenge for us but we will be up for the game. We want to go down there and perform well. We know it's a big game for us.

"This is a game which will really show where we're at. We also have upcoming away games to both Carlow and Laois, so we can ill afford to lose a game.

"We will be trying to show commitment and put in a performance. If we lose, it will not be the be all and end all, but at the same time we do not want to damage our prospects of reaching the final." Tweet
