At the Galway races so won't make this. Would have liked to go. Fancy Galway v Waterford to meet in the final. That would be a great match up if it were to happen with neither team winning it in years.

The past 2 years have shown that when both sides are playing their best there is nothing between them. Galway seem to be on top of their game again this year but it's unclear where Tipp are at. Still, defending All-Ireland champions usually have a big performance in them and it could well come out in 2 weeks. Really looking forward to it.

Fancy Galway to take it but only after an epic.Galway / Tipp usually provide a great game for whatever reason.
Think Cork will have too much firepower for Waterford.

Galway by a couple of points in my opinion. Tipp have put up big scores v Dublin & Clare but I expect Galway's backs to be tighter. Galway look a hell of a lot more physical this year too so watching how that element of the game progresses will be interesting.

It's not quite 1989 again, but there is an element to Tipp/Galway games that provides a nice bit of edge.

I was hoping they'd be kept apart. This is the All-Ireland final imo.

Galway by a point or two.

Has to be Galway unless Tipp can sort out their fullback line. Cork V Waterford could go either way.

Yeah there will definitely be an edge to this, especially after 2015.

I think it's good we get to face off cos Galway can't be accused of a soft all Ireland and we get a chance to atone for the league final meltdown.

If our full back wasn't so shaky I would be optimistic but Galway full forward line will go to town on that full back line. Galway to win it for me.

Up Galway, from all in Limerick

Galways physicality and their ability to suffocate the opposition around the middle third will give them the edge in this one. Tipp won't be getting as many easy scores from cheap puck outs the way Clare were giving them out on Saturday. Tipp's forwards are only as good as the ball into them, I think they'll live off scraps while Galways FF line should be able to over power that Tipp FB line

Very nervous about this game. Will be a shootout as per usual. Callinan, McGrath(s), Bubbles etc all on their day can beat a team on their own. Tipp have a few weeks to sort out their full back line which I expect them to do. He will bring Barrett back in mark my words.

Goals win games and Galway havent scored any in their last 2 games.

Good man Pj. Can't be good for ya holding in that bitterness. Wishing Dublin, Clare and now Galway all the best. Sad.

What motivation for Tipp after the league final drubbing. We haven't hurled and we're two massive games away from bringing home Liam again.
I don't fear any of the other 3 teams left Tipp are capable of beating anyone on their way.
While the defence is shaky our forwards are top class and can put up huge scores.
Croke Park will allow us more space and Galway will thrive too so will be another shoot out.
Wouldn't surprise me if was only a point or two at the end but if this Galway team has any ambition of lifting Liam they should beat this Tipp team going on form by a few points.
Gonna be some battle and Tipp better be physically and tactically ready cos this Galway team is one of the best to take to the field in a long time.

Can we stop this galway have won the all Ireland already nonsense. The league final was a one off, before that there was a one point win apiece and a draw in the previous three games between galway and tipp. We won leinster without playing kilkenny, yet no leinster team in semis. Does that tell anyone anything. Galway haven't been tested since the league quarter final on April 2nd. Tipp forwards averaging 30 points a game. This is 50/50, galway strong favouritism is nonsense.

It is genuinely hard to look past Galway for this one. Looks like Barrett will come back in for Tipp and probably Barry back at 3 and Gleeson in goals, but all have been off form this year including Barrett. There isn't one player on the Tipp team who have got to last years standards yet and there's very little on the Galway team who haven't got above last years standards.
I can't ever remember a team turning their year around out of no where when off form. There's every possibility we could get a right hiding. Our full forward line won't get enough ball to win the game and even if they do the Galway backs have tightened up a lot this year.
I'd expect a Cork-Galway final and despite what the general consensus is, I think Cork will win it. They're on an upward curve and brimming with confidence at the minute.

A well balanced man with a chip on both shoulders. Bless. Tipp shore up the full back line they'll win it. Pressure all on Galway.

I don't know how anyone could predict the winner of this game with any degree of confidence.
It will be close in my opinion and could come down to who gets the breaks on the day.Last year Tipp got them and still only won it by a point.
Heres hoping its as good as their last 2 semis.
