Tony Browne is back training with Waterford at 40 years of age. What an incredible athlete! Nowadays most county players are finished at 31 or 32 and they are not even playing club by the time they hit 40. The man is a true legend. What a man! If he does play this season (hasn't committed yet) he'll probably still be one of the best players in a decent Waterford side. Maybe John Mullane can be talked around too! roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2514 - 12/04/2013 11:15:56 1366430 Link 0 |

YES WHAT AN OUTSTANDING ATHLETE WE HAVE IN THE DEISE RANKS, TONY IS UP THERE WITH THE BEST OF THE BEST IN MY OWN OPINION, HOWEVER OTHER DEISE LEGENDS FERGAL HARTLEY, KEN MCGRATH, DAN SHANAHAN, PAUL FLYNN AND JOHN MULLANE TO NAME A FEW ENDED UP WITHOUT HONESTLY GETTING WHAT THEY DESERVED, AN ALL IRELAND AND I WOULD LOVE TO SEE TONY GETTING ONE THERE IS NOT MANY IN THE GAME WHO WOULD DESERVE ONE MORE THAN HIMSELF - HEARING WHISPERS OF A MULLANE RETURN FOR CHAMPIONSHIP, HOPE THERE RIGHT, PACKED IT IN FAR TOO EARLY, INCREDULOUS TALENT - NOT A BAD LEAGUE CAMPAIGN FROM WATERFORD THIS YEAR, MIGHTEDLY TOUGH TEST IN MHC V CLARE...GOOD OF YOU TO APPRECIATE TONY ON FORUM, DEISE ABU juniorjudge (Waterford) - Posts: 383 - 16/04/2013 19:26:30 1368906 Link 0 |
