Don't know what the dimensions for Parnell Park are but it never seemed small to me when I was on it the odd time. And yet you regularly hear people refer to it as 'tight pitch.' I stand to be corrected but maybe the closeness of the stand and terracing makes it seem smaller? hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 16/06/2010 14:05:23 679116 Link 0 |

Playing on Healy Park years ago, we were always told it was 1 yard longer than Croke Park. redandblackgaa (Tyrone) - Posts: 251 - 16/06/2010 14:24:09 679139 Link 0 |

What's the smallest county ground Fat Boy? At guess I would say Newbridge, and maybe Brewster Park be among them. hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 16/06/2010 14:51:48 679181 Link 0 |

i think fat boys figures refer to the Grass area of the stadium. . .ie the pitch size plus a metre or two either side and either end. . cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 5238 - 17/06/2010 12:02:01 679897 Link 0 |
