Who would be a Jockey?

(Oldest Posts First)

After watching AP taking a couple of bad falls yesterday and then getting back in the saddle and pushing and shoving a half ton horse around a 3 mile track and winning on Albertas Run is this not on of the toughest jobs in the world , AP McCoy man of steel. and probably steel pins and clips.

Wouldn't mind spending some time in the weigh-room with Katy Walsh. She's a fine looking bird.

While you lot were out bevying I was hard at work and when I finished I had to dig a duck pond to keep the children happy. I have three ducks and going to buy a drake at the weekend to service them. Does anyone know anything about the birds and the bees here. Can I still eat the eggs once the drake consumates his relationship? If so, how do you know which ones are going to hatch? Do the ducks sit on them like hens? I'm sure a few rural contributors can help with this one.

ye tough life. a few of my mates are jockeys. they have to be up every morning unbelievably early. one of them is m. mcintyre. got his first ride in wexford the other day. got his front 4 teeth kicked in recently. is on soft foods at the moment. another is p.j. carberry. various injury aswell. bad one to the nose when he was younger. a few recently. c. greene is also a new one and has had a few winners. b.j geraghty, p. toole (also new, has had a few winners aswell) also live around the village i think.
