As a City fan, if we are true to type, we are a certainty to finish BOTTOM.

That's why we follow City.

1. Liverpool (if they can keep Alonso and Javier from Spain, they seem to have the best overall team in the league this year)

2. who cares??? (second place is the first loser)
but....

2. Man U
3. Chesea
4. Everton (If they spend a bitta money this summer anyway)
5. Arsnal (play best football, cant see city taking them with Hughes behind them, average manager at best, done little with blackburn)
6. Man City (take them another year or two)
7. Villa (cant see them making much progress, its downhill from now on)

Going Down
28. Hull (Browns a joke)
29. Burnley (nothing about them)
30. Sunderland (personal grudge)

1. Arsenal -With the likes of Walcott, Rosicky and Eduardo back to full fitness It will be by far the best attacking line up in the PL, and a strenghtend defence who knows?
2. Man Utd - A big Ronaldo shaped hole in the squad, cant see the 4 in a row. 'A team in transission'
3.Chelsea- Ageing squad, Zhirkov is a good signing though
4. Liverpool- Nothing without Gerard or Torres.
5.Everton- Same old same old
6. Villa- weaker than previous season
7.Man City- good signings so far

Relegation
Portsmouth- Certainty if their current predicament persists
Birmingham- A bit like Westmeath in Div 1 this year, Lucky to be there
Wigan- No Bruce, No Valencia, No Heskey, No Palacios , No Hope!

Haha that's one of the funnier posts iv seen, Liverpool wont come as close as they did last year. And Man City, wait till you see, money cant buy you a good team chemistry.
Campions= Arsenal

2nd= Chelsea
3rd= Man United
4th= Liverpool

Europa
5th= Everton
6th= Man City
7th= Aston Villa

Relegation= Stoke.... Blackburn..... Hull

I'd throw some money on that now you'd get good odds for it.

Mike Hunt your post is ridiculous and made me laugh.. Arsenal will be 4th at best again this year. The 'pool mighnt finish as close as last year but without doubt will do better than the gooners.

The Pool have a good a chance this year as any, United will struggle more as Rooney will be the main man and be under extreme pressure, United got rid of 2 of their best players and didn't buy anyone near good enough to replace them. Think it will be between Arsenal and Liverpool. City might secure a champions league spot this year.

1. Liverpool - with gerrard and torres they will get plenty of goals and they've shored up their defence with glen johnson. If they keep alonso and mascherano and display the same never say die attitude as last year they will win it.

2. Chelsea - depends on who they sign, they've been quiet so far but zhirkov is a decent player. May just be too old to mount a strong enough challenge, lampard, drogba, ballack all getting on a bit.

3. Man Utd - no ronaldo to bang in all the goals, no tevez to rescue them at the last minute. Poor signings wont help. Midfield also weak scholes and giggs long past it, park not up to premiership standard and hargreaves injured most of the time.

4. Man City - awesome firepower up front with robinho,tevez and santa cruz and possibly adebayor.With barry and ireland in midfield pulling the strings they will create lots of chances. Add a few defenders and you have the makings of a great team.

5. Arsenal - Great going forward but the defence will cost them again. Need to toughen up and sign someone to do the dirty work in midfield.

6. Aston Villa - good manager in o'neill but he needs a few more players. Downing will be good but he has to replace laursen.

7.Everton - Will challenge Villa all the way. Jo should bang in a few goals and yakubu and arteta back from injury will be a massive boost.

Going Down
Portsmouth, Burnley, Wolves

Champs-Chelsea,maybe can't decide they might flop and fire Ancelotti and get in a new manager mid-season,otherwise Arsenal.

Champo lge places
2nd-Arsenal,will challenge for the title and might edge it.
3rd-Liverpool,can't keep their squad with Alonso on the brink of leaving and Barca eying up Macherano.
4th-United lost the one spark they had,the one thing giving them the edge,Ronaldo,got £80 big ones and bought another Nani,a nobody and a complete failure.

Europa lge places
5th-Everton,steady as usual.
6th-Man City,big money signings will pay off somewhat but Hughes will go after Christmas.
7th-Fulham,hodgeson has done well and will continue to.

Relegation places
18th-Bolton,a terrible year with the whole team just not performing.
19th-Wigan,Martinez not performing to his full potential and losing players loyalty.
20th-Burnley,simply just not able to cope with premier league standard, another championship side playing in the premier league.

dont be at all surprised to see united making big name signings, i would be shocked if they didnt i.e aguero
1.united
2.liverpool-will inevitably lose alonso, there playmaker and he cant be replaced
3.chelsea
4.everton- need to sign a top striker as saha is too injury prone but yakubu will be back this year, hopefully lescott will stay and jakielka gets back to full fitness
5.spurs-would have been there or thereabouts if harry was there at start of last season
6.arsenal-a side in decline and wenger hasnt really got the cheque book out
7.man city- not worth a mention

18.wolves
19.wigan
20.hull

Amusing how some seem to think Arsenal will win it. They've some great young flair players but not enough experience or strength to make a serious challenge over the whole season. A full fit Chelsea would be my favourites, even if Essien had been fit all last year they'd have finished higher I'd say. If Liverpool can hold onto their 2 midfielders and Utd don't buy anyone else then I'd have them joint 2nd favourites. But I do feel Alonso will go and Utd have a bit of business to do yet. I'd still have Chelsea as favourites though, a 4 in a row would be a big achievement but very hard to get, and Utd might not have the same hunger for it at this stage.

united have to give nani more of a chance this season, he has serious potential.
remember ronaldo's first two seasons, everyone wanted to shoot him he was that poor.
give nani ronaldo's role and let him roam. berbatov cant have as bad as season next term, i think he'll deliver the goods this time round.
michael owen will mimic henrik larsson's time at united and 15 goals from him would be a bonus. i dont think anyone will come close to united.
liverpool were dealt a huge psychological blow last season, as they will never come as close to winning the title(for the next few years)
my only fear for man united is the centre of midfield, they need a wesley sneijder type in there to replace paul scholes

1. Man Utd- Rooney to shine now Ronaldo and Tevez is gone, Berbatov will improve and then owen and i gotta feeling about Macheda for this season
2. Chelsea- In two minds about Chelsea, Have the players but i dont know about the manager, he was alright at AC but i have my doubts
3. Liverpool- Really missed their chance last season then going to lose Alonso will mean the useless lucas will be in lol need a few more players to challenge
4. Man City- If they can all gel quickly then they will be contenders, but only for 4th place
5. Everton- Good young squad but need to bolster their squad a little to last a whole season
6. Arsenal- I just dont think that Arsenal will do anything this season, play good football yes, but i just dont think they are clinical enough, maybe im wrong
7. Aston Villa/Spurs- Aston Villa might miss that Barry presence in midfield, if they can replace him with quality they will be good and Spurs are a good team could finish higher than i placed them here

18. Sunderland
19. Birmingham
20. Burnley
