Galway v Mayo - Mayo by seven points

****
A confident prediction there.

Connacht finals Last 7 years

2011 Mayo 0-13 Roscommon 0-11
2010 Roscommon 0-14 Sligo 0-13
2009 Mayo 2-12 Galway 1-14
2008 Galway 2-12 Mayo 1-14
2007 Sligo 1-10 Galway 0-12
2006 Mayo 0-12 Galway 1-08
2005 Galway 0-10 Mayo 0-08

As you can see all close finals only one score between the sides & no team has be able to retain Nestor since Galway in 2003.

True enough mo chara, i just have a feeling we might be a bit ahead of the rest in connacht this year but in fairness i have changed my mind about a million times the last three months but ill stick with this now , Mayo to win nestor at a bit of canter.

It's all ifs and buts, but if it did happen, there's not a chance in hell Mayo will beat Galway by 7 points 51....Not a hope.......

Did anyone else notice a huge movement in leitrims odds for the game v London? They were at 2/5 ..There now gone out to 4/5 to win... Which looks like easy money to me

Well if you backed Mayo to go through to the next round then it was easy money.

Yeah because that's what everyone done - Mayo to win in 90 mins!

It's a circumstantial point.anyway it is a silly statement on your behalf considering Leitrim did not play London last year.

Explain how it is silly? A poster claimed that betting on Leitrim would be easy money. I pointed out that it wasn't the case for Mayo last year, and with Leitrim being a weaker side compared to them, it's far from certain they'll win at Ruislip. Comprende?

Anyway, hopefully London can make more history on Sunday. Best of luck lads.

Where exactly do you mention Mayo in the above post?unclegerry is speaking about betting on the Leitrim and London game.LAST YEAR they did not play eachother so what you have written makes no sense. Fair enough you can overlook your error and assume it is Mayo you are speaking about but even at that Mayo still beat London so your post doesnt stand up to that either.so that's why it is a silly post. COMPRENDE?

What's the title of this thread? And how many Connacht Championship games did London play last year? Mayo won but it wasn't in 70 minutes, so that bet would be void. Stop being so precious for god's sake.

Read my previous posts re the void bet.I was very careful with my reply.nice to see you are resorting to abuse, shows the loss of an argument.

Abuse? We must have thicker skins on this side of the pond...

Do you actually have a view on Sunday's game?

The outlook is mixed here and London probably never have a better chance on a Connacht win in years. Last year hope was non-existant and we ambushed Sligo in their own backyard and then didnt play anything like the next day out. Ballymun Kickhams bet Leitrim well in a challenge a fortnight ago but then again Leitrim beat Longford a week or two before that so God knows what'll happen. Theres a few Leitrim men playing club over in London and reports are that club football is of a higher standard over there. That said theres a large amount of Leitrim fans going to London and maybe that will spur the lads on to get over the line. Would I bet money? Nope.

Very nervous about Leitrim for this match. I actually think Leitrim will be a lot better next year; but this year very problematic. Lack of physicality could be their undoing. Hope not.

I am a betting man, but nothing on this match I'm afraid. No point squandering the lovely profits made last year on the Sligo match, 13/2 I got! A few got better than that.

Looking at the London team named it's more or less the same one that brought Mayo to extra time last June. Leitrim have already beaten London in the league & i still believe they will come out of Ruislip with a narrow victory.
