Replying To Donegal_abroad:  "Tactics can neutralise talent... Only part of the story, there was an awful lot of talent in that Donegal team, overlooked so easily in the repetitive narratives about both teams. Dublin were fantastic in terms of talent but so were Donegal."
Agree, great talent in that Donegal team. Pound for pound though Dublin had a better panel but Donegal's counteracting tactics ripped Dublin apart that day. A great lesson for Dublin at the time.

They were indeed and worthy winners that year

How dare you! Giro?? Sure didn't 'WE' British bail out 'YOU' Irish with a 7 Billion Pound 'Giro" when the banks collapsed? LOL!

Replying To Liamwalkinstown:  "I am confident

I am confident mainly because I can see Philly Mc/Johnny Cooper absolutely snuffing out Bradley. He is a nice footballer, but the Dubs FB line have a great record of not giving away silly fouls. They are excellent in the tackle and don't concede frees in the process. For that reason I don't see Bradley putting up a big score, and if he doesn't then Tyrone will need Peter Harte or Matty to have absolute stormers to get the necessary scores to beat Dublin, and I am confident they wont get that opportunity. Tyrone have looked very good this year but what have they beaten? You could say the same about Dublin except in the last few years this Dubs team have beaten everyone, Tyrone have been beaten by all the other top sides.
With only a mediocre Ulster championship to go by, Tyrone have not met anything recently like this Dubs team.

I see Dubs winning by 5"
Yes, that's a fair assessment. Dublin should beat Tyrone and it's only wishful thinking to think otherwise. Tyrone look well playing second rate and done teams but this team has never delivered against a top team. Dublin is likely to have the ref's sympathy as well, not that they even need it.

I think the money thing is overstated, but has an effect. Mayo apparently spend the most, Roscommon also spend hugely, however I think Tyrone are 23rd. The big thing is the massive population to draw from.

I'm nervous about this one. I think Tyrone can definitely do it if things go right for us. For once we have been very good on kick outs this year and it could be where we could win this as bizarre as that sounds given Cluxton. If that can be got at it would be massive. I think people underestimate the talent in this Tyrone team. There's not a bad footballer on the panel.

Dublin have surely been immense over the last few years, maybe not having a worthy rival gives rise to people questioning their credentials?

Really looking forward to this. Probably won't be a footballing classic but fascinating none the less.

Score prediction time. Dublin 1-11 Tyrone 1.9.

Save travel to all.

For me it's 50/50 with neither team having been tested thus far in the Championship.

I'm hopeful that the Dubs can come through by the minimum but this Tyrone team are a coming force. It'd be great to see the likes of Seán Cavanagh and Mickey Harte getting to another final.

Mayo and Kerry have been consistently worthy rivals over the years.

In Croke park and very very little support for the Dublin minors. A few on the hill but you would think people would make the effort and support the minors in the semi final. Probably land in at 3.55 and senior game will be delayed.
Anyway that's life I suppose.

Ah stop moaning and enjoy the game. Seize fire on petty points. Bad ol dubs stuff needs a rest on here.

Here we go!!

Hope it's a great game.

The closer it gets to match time the more i feel we know what we'll get with Dublin but Tyrone less so. 4 All-Irelands versus none since 2011 too.

I honestly don't mind who wins. But perhaps a novel Mayo/Tyrone final to go with the novel Galway/Waterford hurling one would be intriguing. At any rate hope the best team wins today and no controversy.

How is a Leinster man as referee in an All Ireland semi final where a Leinster team is involved, why wasn't a Munster or Connacht man given the job, we had this issue in last years replay so the GAA haven't sorted this issue out

Well now with all due respect, it's 31 vs 1 in the football. Everyone from Meath, Kildare, etc would be as happy to see the Dubs beat as you would be.
