Ryan's order
January 22, 2009
Fermanagh defender Ryan McCluskey is confident the Ernesiders can put together another good Ulster run in 2009.
Malachy O'Rourke's charges were pipped at the post by Armagh after a replay last year, but the stylish centre back reckons there's no shortage of desire in Fermanagh to finish the job.
According to the inspirational Enniskillen Gaels clubman: "I'd like to think we'll be there or thereabouts again in the Ulster championship this season, but we have a very tough draw at home to Down.
"We haven't a good record against Down. It's something we need to put right if we want to try and win Ulster. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best to achieve that."
Before any of that, Fermanagh aim to consolidate their newfound Division Two status. "The first plan is to try and get enough points to stay in the division and work towards the summer and see how we develop from there," McCluskey added.
